Obituary of Patricia McDonald

McDONALD, Patricia Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving children. Cherished mother of Anne (Harold Hawco), Ellen (Max Alberto), Cathy, Tina (Leslie Aykler), Belinda (Charlie Alfano), Michael (Jennifer) and Mary Jane (Fabian Grenning). Devoted grandmother of Janice (Robert Tee), Carolyn (Andrew Windsor), Mindy, Kristen, Jeffrey, EJ (Joelle), Daniel, Justin (Lina), Mara, Isabella, Michaela, Catherine, Taylor and Lucas. Loved great-grandmother of Lauren, Alex, Elizabeth, Maren, Liam and Carter. Will be missed by her canine companion Frankie. A very special thank you to Doctors Deborah Cook and Mark Crowther and the staff in the emergency department of St. Joseph’s Healthcare. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
