Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Mayrand

MAYRAND, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Passed away peacefully at the Henderson General Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2009 in her 67th year. Predeceased by her mother and father Violet and Harold Denman and brother Richard Denman. Beloved wife of Yvon for 48 years. Loved mother of Deborah Bronson and her husband Garry, Christopher Mayrand and his wife Brenda and Michael Mayrand. Cherished grandma of Tim Bronson (Melissa Laderoute), Courtney Bronson (Adam McKichan), Deanna Mayrand, Tasha Mayrand, Kayla Mayrand and Brandon Mayrand. She will be sadly missed by her brother Bill Denman and his wife Elaine, her brothers and sisters-in-law Georgie Mayrand, Lucy and Bob Gagnon, Helen and Mitch Mayrand, and Arnold St. Jean. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Bottega, Dr. Goffin, Nurse Beth and all of the nursing staff of the Henderson Hospital and the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
