Obituary of Samuel Martin

MARTIN, Samuel It is with saddened hearts and thanksgiving for his life, that the family of Samuel Martin announce his passing at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton. Survived by his “Honey Do” of 67 years, Sarah (Sadie) Martin, his devoted children Trevor and his wife Marina Martin, Dawn and her husband Phil Cox, as well as his adoring grandchildren Tara (Euan) McKendrick, Hugh Martin (Sherry Dawson), Zeke (Jaime) Cox, Alex (Elle) Martin, Laura (Shiluk) Fernando as well as his 5 great-grandchildren Logan Cox, Kyla and Brady McKendrick, Raina Fernando and Ian Martin. Sam was a proud member of Garside Bible Church and the Faith Mission and devotedly lived his life to his Lord. He will be remembered for his unconditional love, integrity, smile, kisses and patience. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Faith Mission would be greatly appreciated by the family.
