Obituary of Beatrice Martel

MARTEL, Beatrice Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, March 31, 2012, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Martel. Loved mother of Micheline Besseling (Phil) and Guy Martel (Linda). Predeceased by her son Robert. Dear mother-in-law to Elizabeth Martel. Loving grand-mother of Cameron (Karen), Danielle (Peter), Jason (Coreena), Ryan (Melissa) and great-grandchildren Andrew, Cali, Riley, Brooke Taelor and Chantal. Dear sister of Yolande St. Amant (Jean Guy). She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews in Quebec. Beatrice will be remembered for the baking she delivered to much of Stoney Creek. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. where a celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 5th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
