MARCH, Douglas Suddenly, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Gloria for 59 years. Loved father of Barclay and his wife Anne. Predeceased by his daughter Laura. Survived by his son-in-law David Vallillee. Loving grandfather of Valerie, Kevin, Paul and Nathan. Dear brother of Vernon. Predeceased by his brother Ross. Doug was a veteran of WWII and a retired employee of WABCO. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 3 p.m. Private interment to take place.
