Obituary of Peter John Maffey

MAFFEY, Peter John It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Peter Maffey on June 28, 2012 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband and friend of almost 42 years to Helene. Dad to Greg and his wife Karen, of Guelph and Allison and her husband Dave, of Victoria, BC. Proud and loving Poppa to grandchildren Jordan and Daniel Maffey and Franchesca “Frankie” Maffey Niezen. Survived by brothers Murray and his wife Anne and Richard and his wife Maryse, and niece and nephew Nicole and Marc. Predeceased by his parents Alice and John Maffey. Thought of by brother-in-law Gordon. Missed by sister-in-law Jean and her husband Pat and nieces Kerri and her husband John and family and Colleen and her husband Brian. Loyal friend to Bob, Jon, Glen and George. Thank you to C Ward staff for their kindness, compassion and care. Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of his life will be held in the very near future. Arrangements are entrusted to Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. I will never forget you Peter, Helene
