Dear Kevin,
Lorena just emailed me a notice saying that your Mom had passed away in April. Please accept my condolences. I do remember her hospitality and warmth when I came with my sister Geraldine to visit her once. The other times Geraldine came on her own when I dropped her off and picked her up at your work. Geraldine is not well herself now, and I just spent a week caring for her in P.E.I. in July.
May you have fond memories to carry you through this time. My sincerest sympathy to you and the other members of your family.

My condolences go out to Kevin and Edgar. I'm so very sorry and saddened to hear of Barb's passing. Growing up with Kevin and living next door to him since I was ten years old, I have been lucky enough to talk to Barb on a daily basis. We lived next door to each other on Gateshead Cresent, and it's never been the same here since you've moved away. One thing is for certain and just remember that Barb is looking down on you and she is in the arms of Jesus!!!!!!! My love to the family!

With fondest memories of Barb.
Her kindness, warmth, beautiful smile and sense of humour was always a joy to behold.
We, at Albright knew her as a friend, but most of all as a devoted wife to Ed and a wonderful mother to Kevin.
A sudden loss, Barb will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sincere condolences to the family.
Rest in peace, Barb

I just wanted to say that all of us at the Manor will deeply miss Barb. She was like a part of the family along with Ed to all of us. I truly enjoyed her sense of humor and how at ease and comfortable she made us all feel when she was in everyday. Her sudden passing is such a loss to us all. We will continue to keep Ed's spirits up and take good care of him in Barb's absence.
Rest in peace Barb

I hope you will accept my apologies for intruding at this sad time. I saw Barbara's picture and obituary, and it touched me. I am assuming that she suffered with M.S., and as someone that has suffered with degenerative disk disease for some thirty years, and recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, I can only say that your feelings must be bittersweet.
I lost my mother on Good Friday, and like Barbara, she too had been suffering some time. It pained us terribly to see her wither away to someone that we hardly recognized, being unconscious in the end.
In any event, I believe that it is possible that I met Barbara some years ago. I hail from the Smithville area, so am familiar of course with your area, having several relatives in Grimsby/West Lincoln.
What most impressed me about Barbara's picture was her beautiful smile, and I am sure that no matter what, she faced life with grace and dignity.
And so, Barbara, I am also sure, that the Angels have welcomed yet another Angel into their midst, for this one shall be missed here on earth.
Until you meet her again, my sincerest condolences.
