Obituary of William Joseph MacNeil

MacNEIL, William Joseph It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing at his home on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in his 72nd year. He was the loving companion, best friend and husband to Wilma for fifty wonderful years. As well as the loving and much loved father of Bonnie (Cyril), Bridget (Kostas), and Billy (Anna). Adored Papa to Kailaan, Alexis, Aedan, and Anthony. Survived by sisters Caroline, Margie, and Linda; brothers Tim, Luther, Howard, Dana. Pre-deceased by sisters Edna and Hilda; brothers Charlie, John, Robert, Sherman, Dave, and Shelly; brother and sister-in-law John and Christie. Bill will also be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Judy and Norma MacNeil, Edie (Sandy), Shirley (Peter), Bernadette (George), Paula (Wayne), Cindy (Bobby); and brothers-in-law Alex (Maryanne), and Rollie. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a long standing member of Local 793 Operating Engineers (47 years). Loving you forever and always. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
