Obituary of Thomas MacDonald

MacDONALD, Thomas Suddenly, at the Hamilton General Hospital on June 11, 2012. Loving husband to Patricia and best friend for 66 years. Loving father of Patsy (Jim) and Kyle (Sarah). Cherished grandfather of Curtis, Matthew (Julianne), Cassie (Dave), Andrew, Iain, Avery and great-grandfather to Jack Thomas. Tom was a retired employee of Stelco with 25 years of service. Tom proudly served in WWII with the 6th Battalion Gordon Highlanders in the North African Campaign and Italy. In 1943, Tom was captured in Anzio and was a P.O.W until 1945. At Tom’s request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Stoney Creek Legion, 12 King Street East on June 23, 2012 from 1 until 4 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 905-662-2948.
