Obituary of Grace Mary Macdonald

MACDONALD, Grace Mary (nee White) At the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2011 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Murray Macdonald (2007). Dear mother of Norman (Gail), Gordon (Laura), Margaret (Rob Pearson), Gary (Barbara), Mona, and Bob. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Grace was a member of the Stoney Creek United Church. She was also a member of the choir, the UCW, Stoney Creek Optimist Club, taught piano for many years and was the organist at Wesley United Church. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Stoney Creek United Church (corner of King St. and Lake Ave.) on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Stoney Creek United Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
