Obituary of Francis Jerome MacDonald

MacDONALD, Francis Jerome Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, in his 84th year. Beloved husband to Maisie for 61 years. Loving father of Linda MacDonald, Ralph and his wife Ann, Sheila and her husband Tom Bothwick, Jerome, Steven and Paul. Dear grandfather of Rebecca, Myles, James and Christopher and great- grandfather of Cameron and Erika. Francis is also survived by his brother Bernard along with nieces and nephews. Francis was a member of the Hamilton Horseshoe Pitching Club and will be missed by fellow club members. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of his life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 9 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
