Obituary of Ronald John MacCharles

MACCHARLES, Ronald John Passed away peacefully at home with his family, on Saturday, May 21, 2011, in his 69th year. Loved forever by his wife Claudia, daughters Joanne and Wendy and son-in-law Brian. Will be sadly missed by his sister Sandra Hamilton and her husband John. Ron also leaves behind a loving extended family of in-laws, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Our deepest thanks to Dr. Fraser, Tracy and all of the Staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the old “Henderson F3” who took wonderful care of Ron and to the CCAC and the nurses of St. Joseph’s Home Care. We are forever grateful to Linda Borger for her compassion and dedication and especially for helping to make Ron’s final days easier. Thank you also to family, friends and neighbours who supported us through Ron’s long illness. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, May 29th from 1-4 p.m. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held out of town at a later date.
