Obituary of Helen Loveys

LOVEYS, Helen With heartfelt sadness, the family of Helen Loveys announces her sudden passing in her 87th year on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Extendicare Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Al (1998). Loving mother of Jeff (Patrice), Chris (Ellie), Jackie Coté (Gerald), and Gerrie. Loving Grandmother of Bill, Brandon, Jeremy, Leanne and Rhianna. Loving Great-Grandmother of Tyler, Zechariah and Mackenzie. Helen was a long time resident of Tapleytown and long time member of Tapleytown United Church. In spite of recent health challenges, Helen maintained her spirit and humour. She regularly entertained the staff of Extendicare with her quick wit and mischievous nature. Thank you to her special caregivers who constantly went the extra mile. Helen will be dearly missed by all those she touched. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. In Helen’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
