Obituary of Katharine Long

LONG, Katharine (nee Hueber) It is with heavy hearts that the family of Katharine Long share the loss of their 85 year old mother, who suddenly passed on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Juravinski Hospital. Katharine was the devoted Wife of the late Melville, and beloved Mother of Patricia (Manzi), David and Kathryn (Whitaker) and cherished “Nanny” to grandchildren Dina (John Knight), Kristina, Matthew, Melanie and Michael and great-grandchildren Victoria and Benjamin. Along with her son-in-law Nick (Manzi), brother Joseph, sister-in-law Anna Marie and adopted daughter Karen. Throughout the years, Katharine filled our hearts with much love and laughter. At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life and the wonderful memories she brought to our world.
