Rest Dear Mother
It’s time for you to rest, dear Mother
for your job is done.
Although our hearts are broken,
we are left to carry on.
The memories we will cherish,
of your tender loving ways,
We will pass down to our children
and share those special days
Of how you worked so hard in life to
give all you could.
For in your children’s children,
is your warm and loving blood.
Now be at peace dear mother
Our love for you will never end
We will miss you oh so deeply,
and our hearts will never mend.
One day we will all see you,
in that special place above.
Till then, dear mother,
wait for us with your
kindness and love.
