Obituary of Cathy Liber

LIBER, Cathy (Hewitt) Peacefully passed away on May 6, 2009, in her 46th year at home in Stoney Creek, embraced in the loving arms of her family. Cathy was an angel amongst us and is now in the service of our Lord. Devoted wife of Walter Liber. Proud and loving mother of Elissa and Rebecca. Beloved daughter of Leonard and Rita Hewitt and daughter-in-law of Mary Liber and the late Ivan Liber. Dear sister of Carol and her husband Dale Pyke and Christine Mitchell. Will be sadly missed by her extended families, Martha Jean and the late James Keough, Beth and David Waterman, Kelly Keough and Bill Vella, Patricia Eyre-Uggenti and Ed Clarke, Milt Aucoin and by her many nieces and nephews. Cathy will be remembered for her beauty, warmth, personality and her very big heart. Cathy was a very loyal friend and as such treasured each and every friendship. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church (corner King St. and Lake Ave.), Stoney Creek on Saturday, May 9 at 9 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
