Obituary of Joseph Legato

LEGATO, Joseph Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle, on Monday, February 27, 2012 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Nellie (2007). Loving and devoted father of Mary-Ann (Paul Whatmore), Laurie- Ann (James Thompson) and Joseph Jr. Cherished Grandfather of Christine (Patrick Camilleri), Joseph Wybraniak (Violetta), Alexandra, Tamara, Damon, Jessica, Ashley and Nathan. Great-Grandfather of Daniel, Lucas, Jocelyn and will always be Lucas’ HERO! Uncle Joe will be missed by his nieces and nephew’s, especially missed by Darlene (Roger Barnes) and Richard Komar (Anne). Joe will also be missed by his special “Pal’s” Buddy and Gizmo. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Wednesday, February 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer’s will be held Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Frances Xavier Church, 304 Highway #8 Stoney Creek on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. Cremation to Follow.
