Obituary of Grace Dorothy Lee

LEE, Grace Dorothy Peacefully and with great courage on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Juravinski Hospital in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack). Dearest mother of John and Sue (the late Marguerite), Jim and Bev (the late Shelley) and Ken. Loving grandmother of Joanne and Kevin Murphy and Michael and Sherry Lee. Great-grandmother of Shawn, Tyler, Meghann, Mikayla, Madisyn and Makenzie Murphy and Aidan and Isaiah Lee. Grace will be missed by her brother Bill (Dale), sister Betty (Bill), late brother Pat (Mary) and predeceased by sister-in-law Helen. Grace was an avid square dancer as well as the Matriarch of the Carey and Lee Families and she will be missed by all. Special thanks to Dr. Tuttle and staff at the Juravinski Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, December 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church, 79 Collegiate Ave, Stoney Creek on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Hamilton Wentworth Board of Education Chelsi Robinson Fund would be appreciated by the family.
