LEA, Muriel "Maude" Surrounded by love, on Friday, October 3, 2008, in her 94th year. Best friend and companion of Harlen for over 67 years. Cherished mother of Dennis and his wife Jerri and Lorne and his wife Danielle. Beloved grandmother of Tanya, Tammy (Kevin), Stewart Arnott (Marilyn), Trevor Arnott (Cathy), Rosalind, Alexandria, Meghan and proud great-grandmother of Olivia, Amaiya, Maddison, Hannah and Ella. Beginning in 1936, Maude became the most popular hairdresser in Stoney Creek, she loved to square dance, was a Scout leader, a long time employee of Hunts Pharmacy and was one of three founders of Warden Park. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek, 905-662-2948, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
