Obituary of Doraine Barclay

BARCLAY, Doraine It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, Doraine, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late James Barclay (1989). Much loved mother of James (Diane), Alma and Lynda (Pat Lattanzio). Cherished grandmother of Madison, Sawyer, Brier and Ewen Barclay, James and William Richard and Vito and Peter Lattanzio. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother, Robert McDougall (Stoney Creek) and her sister Bernice VanEvery (Toronto). Predeceased by her mother and father, Myrtle and Lorne McDougall and her sister, Marion Eden (Vella). Doraine was a member and past matron of Historic Chapter, 194 Eastern Star. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
