Obituary of Alexander Joseph Lanari
LANARI, Alexander Joseph "Alex" March 20, 1949 - April 14, 2008 (Member of Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators Union and an employee of the City of Hamilton as an operator with the H.S.R.) In the comfort of his home, Alex's fight with cancer ended. Leaving behind the love of his life, and wife, Kathy. Together for 31 years - married 24, now temporarily separated. Dear son of Nello and Alba and son-in-law of Anne Kay. Dear brother of Mel (Cheryl), Dennis (Patti), Patricia (Glen). Favourite brother-in-law of Randy (Suzanne) Kay, Patricia Kay, Danny Kay, Paul (Cathy) Kay, Donna (Steve) McMurray, BJ. Kay, and Suzie Kay. Uncle of Hollie, Andrea, Laura, Krystal, Tiffany, Andrew, Molly, Justin, Stephanie, Chrissy and Melissa. Alex will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Will be especially missed by Ray and Linda, Alfred, with an extra special shine on Grant (Helen, Ronnie and Meaghan). The family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Service on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (corner of Barton Street East and Nash Road, Hamilton), on Friday, April 18th at 1:30 p.m. Cremation.
