Obituary of Orval Laidman

LAIDMAN, Orval Peacefully passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Thursa Marie (nee Marshall) of 59 years. Cherished father of Wayne (Linda), Myrna (Klaus), Lois (Jim) and Richard. Will be missed by his grandchildren Mike and Jessica. Son of the late Hugh and Eva. Dear brother of Dorothy (Oscar) and brother-in-law of Mae Laidman. Predeceased by his siblings Charles, Ralph, Carl, Russell, Melvin, Mabel, Alice and Florence. Orval had worked for 40 years with Saltfleet Township and Stoney Creek as a grader operator and foreman. Special thanks to the staff of the VON, Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital.
