Obituary of Emily Nettie Korta

KORTA, Emily Nettie (nee Shuhet) Peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband John Korta. Loving mother of Ann (Steve Shipton), Tina, and John (Nancy). Much loved Baba of Jesse, Connor, Alexis, and Ryleigh. Dear sister of Raymond Shuhet (Donna). Predeceased by her brother John Shuhet (Mary), and her sister Mary (Al Kijonek). Emily was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, February 7th from 5-8:30 p.m.. Panachyda Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 280 Melvin Ave., Hamilton on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
