Obituary of Akiyoshi Oki Kitagawa

KITAGAWA, Akiyoshi Oki Passed away peacefully, in his 90th year on Monday, December 12, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife Chiyeko of 63 years, his three daughters Dianna, Linda, Pamela and their spouses, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He will always be remembered by his brothers and sisters and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Wesley United Church, 651 Hwy. 8, Fruitland, on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society, Juravinski Cancer Centre, Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
