We wish to extend our condolences to Auntie Aileen's family. She will be dearly missed but will remain close in our hearts. Her service to others was truly a gift that she shared freely. On the day of, or the day after we arrived in Hamilton for a visit, she always phoned to welcome us and to find out what our family was up to. And it was the same when we left - you could always count on Auntie Aileen to phone to say good-bye and to wish us a safe trip back to Penticton. I will miss those calls. . . .
Could there be a kinder, gentler soul? I think not. Auntie Aileen will always be a mentor to us as she showed us how to treat our family, friends, neighbours, and strangers with love, kindness and generosity. Thank you for that lifelong lesson!

From:From Ottawa, Ontario, my wife Helen and I offer our sincere condolences to all family members on the passing of such a wonderful lady as Aileen (as we knew her) Baldasaro. With great heart and spirit, she was always concerned with and for, others and made a very special impact in this world. Tempory health reasons mean we must stay home but we'll be there in spirit and love at today's services for Aileen.
