Obituary of Dorothy Kilby

KILBY, Dorothy (nee Allan) Surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Juravinski Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Walter Kilby. Loving mother of Carolynn Cooper. Dear grandmother of David and John and much loved great-grandmother of Ethan, Mya and Andrew, all of Brampton. Dorothy was a charter member of the Stoney Creek Baptist Church and was a tireless worker in all facets of church work for over 50 years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 17 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
