Obituary of Carlos Augusto Damaia

Carlos Augusto passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at St. Peter's Hospital at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of Sigrid Damaia for 59 years.  He leaves behind his sons Daniel (Judy), Michael (Claire) and Steven (Emma). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Yureyny (Justin), Jesse, Michael, Matthew, Mitchell and Nolan, and great-granddaughter Liliana.

Carlos was a caring person and loved by many for all the help he offered over the years whether it be helping with renovations or donating his time and skills for pig roasts.

The family wish to thank the staff of St. Peter's Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate and kind care.
