Obituary of Cindy Begon-Slyford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy on Saturday November 11, 2023 at the age of 56. Cindy will be sorely missed by her mother Linda and father Don, her children Zachary and Jacob (Rodney), her brothers Terry and Rick (Tonja) and her nieces and nephews Aaron, James, Jenna, Chloe and Max. Cindy was a loving niece to her Aunt Cheryl and cherished cousin to Laurie (Gary), Ed (Barb), Sheri (Bob), Mike, and Jeff. She will be greatly missed by her B.F.F. Cathy, along with her many friends and co-workers.

Cindy was a kind and friendly person who had a love of animals, travelling, and shopping. She loved her family and her home. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Powerhouse Restaurant, 21 Jones Street, Stoney Creek, from 12-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the S.P.C.A. or any other animal shelter in memory of Cindy would be appreciated. We were blessed to have Cindy in our lives and she will remain in our hearts forever. How lucky we are to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard.
