It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Alex on December 20, 2017 in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of the late Cecilia (nee Chisholm).  Loving father of Lynn (Ron) and Barry.  Survived by his brother A.J. (the late Jean) of Nova Scotia.  Predeceased by brothers Ralph and Norman (Kay).  Alex was a longtime employee of Bell Canada with over 35 years of service.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m.   A private interment will be held at Mountview Gardens Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated.
