Obituary of Jayne Nixon

NIXON, Jayne Elizabeth (nee Hill) 

Passed peacefully, surrounded by her family at home, on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the age of 59. Cherished and loving wife to Tom for 39 years. Proud mother to Christopher (Danielle), Daniel (Erin), Andrew (Lisa), and Matthew. Sister to Wayne Hill (Elizabeth) and Barb Gerrard (Ken). Predeceased by granddaughter Arianna Hope, and loving grandmother to Josie and Noah. Aunt to 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Jayne was a proud Educational Assistant for 18 years who had a passion for working with special need students. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Jayne’s Life will take place on Monday, September 25, 2017 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to immediately follow.
