MAHER, Effie

Surrounded by her loving family, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Ted for 52 years. Devoted and much loved mother of Sean and his wife Polly, Shelley and her husband Edward Legacy. Adored grandma of Connor, Mitchell, Ethan and Seth. She will be missed by many other family members and friends. Effie will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing and listening to the Irish Rovers. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
