JAUERNIG, Kurt Paul

It is with great sadness that our family says goodbye to Kurt on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe at the age of 74. Beloved and dedicated husband for 50 years to Lil. Loving father to Paul (Joanne), and Lisa (Ron). Cherished by his grandchildren Stacy, Taylor and Brandon. Predeceased by his brother Alfons (Maritta), Elizabeth (Joe), and survived by his sister Linda (Eugene). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially Bob and June. Special Thank you to the supportive staff at St. Peters, Behavior Ward and Norfolk's Ward 4B South. Kurt was a proud, retired steel worker of local 5328.  He was a passionate Bruins fan, enjoyed socializing with friends at Tim Horton's, and listening to his favorite performer ELVIS (The King) (TCB). Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
