Obituary of Petar Tica

TICA, Petar  
Born in Markovac, Kosovo on June 12, 1920
Peacefully at St. Peter`s Hospital, surrounded by his loving nephew and wife, Momir and Ljubica Manojlovic on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in his 97th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Nada (2005) and will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews in Canada and abroad. Petar was a dedicated member and founder of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral on Nash Road as well as an active member of the Chetnik War Veterans Association. He will be remembered as a king gentleman, considerate of others, tough on the outside but soft on the inside.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 6-9 p.m.  with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 12 noon with The Very Reverend Fathers Vojislav Pavlovic and Stevo Stojsavljevich officiating.
