Obituary of Marshall French

 FRENCH, Marshall

June 12, 1918 - April 27, 2017

After a full life of almost 99 years, Marshall has left all of his adoring family and friends to spend eternity with his cherished wife of 71 years, Florence. Marshall was predeceased by his son, Ralph French in 1993. Marshall will be lovingly remembered by his children, Roy (Diane),  Ross, Carrie (Ron) Kobus, Barb (Mark) Byrnes and daughters-in-law, Patricia (Ralph), Marilyn and Donna. Marshall's grandchildren; Dean (Jane), Lee, Julie (Paul) LeClerc, Brent (Tammy), Adam (Jen), Joel (Beth), Jodi (Andrew) Miles, Steve Kobus, Lisa Kobus (Adam Martin), Tim Veenstra, Andy Veenstra (Brandi Ahearn), Nathan Byrnes (Natalie Huebner), Ryan Byrnes (Sarah Bourgeois), Logan Byrnes, and Graham Byrnes (Ashley Cameron). Marshall's great-grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin and Emily French, Hayden Hockaday and Grayson O'Brien, Joshua (Jes), Brianna (Dan Mosel), and Rachelle LeClerc, Tyler (Alicia), Hunter (Ryan Bili), Trinity, and Halo French, Jillian, Nathan and Libby French, Isabella French (predeceased 2011), Will and Jeremy Miles. Marshall's great-great-grandchildren, Marshall and Harrison LeClerc and Garth French. All of his offspring will hold Grandpa French in their hearts. The Visitation will take place at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, May 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 10 Trinity Church Rd. Hamilton, on Tuesday, May 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Interment at the church cemetery and a luncheon to follow at Trinity. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice will be thankfully received. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
