Obituary of Margaret Ann Serabian

SERABIAN, Margaret Ann (nee Gowrie) Peacefully at Idlewyld Manor on Friday, January 13, 2017, in her 82nd year. Much loved wife of Harry. Loving mother of Susan (Vaughn), Harry (Penny), Patricia (Paul). Wonderful grandmother to Stacia (Mark), Tara, William, Sydney, Sarah and Sadie. Dear sister of Carol (Alex), Jim (Elspeth). Sister-in-law of Margaret (Moss), Louise (Manfred). Margaret was a devoted parishioner of The Church of the Redeemer, volunteering both in the church and community of Stoney Creek. She found much enjoyment in her grandchildren, playing cards, vacationing in Florida, Sunday dinner and telling everyone what to do. Many thanks to the Creekside staff at Idlewyld Manor for the very best care given to Margaret in the last few years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at The Church of our Saviour the Redeemer, 25 Lake Avenue South, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. Family interment to follow.
