Obituary of Barbara Anne McKenna

Peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Thursday, June 19, 2014, in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Daniel for over 48 years. Loving mother of Paul (Jacqueline), Shannon (Mike Battista). Beloved Nana of Alexis, Zachariah and Jacob. Dear sister of Robert Rife, Joan Hicks and William Corn. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was retired from Angelo’s Unisex Hair Styling. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, June 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, June 23rd from 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church, Barton St. and Nash Road in Hamilton, on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 9 a.m. In Barbara’s memory, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
