Obituary of Andrea Rose Matthews

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the age of 31. Precious daughter of Anthony (Tony) Matthews, and Anita and her husband Nick Cannon. Cherished sister of Tony (Toto), his wife Candace and step-sister of Tyler Cannon. She touched many lives at Maple Leaf Foods and her co-workers at NATO and will be forever missed by her many family members and friends. Awn will be remembered for her free spirit, positive energy, sense of adventure, and her contagious smile that would brighten any day. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2 p.m., with visitation the hour prior.
