Obituary of Thomas James Chadwick

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden passing of Tom. After a brief battle with (AML) Leukemia, Tom succumbed to heart failure on Monday, February 17, 2014 and passed away with his loving wife Susie at his side, at the Juravinski Hospital, in his 56th year. Best friend and soul mate to Susie (nee Bodden) for 35 wonderful years. Proud and dedicated father to his sons Tom and Daniel. Will be sorely missed by his loving companions “Bear and Gee”. Tom is predeceased by his father William “Chad” (2002) and will be forever cherished by his mother Patricia. Loving brother to Bill (Sheila), Theresa (Michael) O’Driscol, and Trisha (Steven) Dixon. Adored son-in-law to Maureen and the late Ron (2005) Bodden. “Tom Terrific” best ever brother-in-law to family Michael (Paula) Bodden, Pat (Cindy) Bodden, Kevin (Sherry) Bodden, and Shauna (Paul) Kummer. Uncle Tom will be forever missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Tom’s team of doctors and nurses from the Juravinski C-4 Hematology department for their exceptional care during Tom’s stay. Friends will be received Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Stoney Creek, on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
