Obituary of Stanley Kershaw

Peacefully went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2014, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Gwen. Loving father to Valerie and her husband Brian Whittaker. Cherished grandfather to Jeffrey (Debbie) and Cynthia, great-granddaughters Rachel Ann (Andrew) Bridgette and great-great-granddaughter Chloe. Predeceased by brother’s Cliff, Wes, Bernie and sister-in-law Elsie. Dear brother-in-law to Helen and Peggy Kershaw and Rex Mills (Audrey). Will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Stan was a former member of Delta Tabernacle and currently was a member of Compass Point Bible Church. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff on the 4th floor of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, for their care and compassion toward Stan. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Compass Point Bible Church, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington, on Friday, February 14 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
