Obituary of George Marshall

Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton general Hospital on Friday January 31, 2014 at the age of 93. George was the beloved husband of the late Frances Marshall. He will be missed by his children Judith, Linda, Mike, Charles and George. Also, remembered by his extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Charles, William, James, Stanley, Clifford, Roy, Woodrow and his sisters Audrey and Ruth. Throughout his adult life, George devoted his time to the community, the Anglican Church, his family and friends. The family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses on the stroke ward at the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care for our wonderful father. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
