Obituary of John Andrew Waddell

WADDELL, John Andrew Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Doris for over 72 years. Loved father of Doreen (Will Zimmerman) and Jim (Audrey). Loving grandfather of Eric Zimmerman (Tanya), John Zimmerman (Nancy), Andrew Waddell (Sherry), Kate Waddell, and great-grandchildren Craig, Mark, Kyle and Hannah Zimmerman, Dylan & Emma Waddell. Predeceased by his brothers James, Ross and George. Survived by many nieces and nephews. John was a retired employee of Dofasco. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. In John’s memory, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
