Obituary of Fraser (Bud) Beatty Tarras

TARRAS, Fraser Beatty “Bud” Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton in his 84th year. He was the beloved husband of Jean (nee Doyle) for 63 plus years. He leaves his three sons, Bill (Sherry) of Penticton, B.C., Bob (Katherine) of Edmonton, AB and Brian of Hamilton. Also remembered by his four grandsons, one granddaughter and three great-grandsons. Bud served 33 years as a police officer starting with the O.P.P. in 1956 in Chatham and Ridgetown. Then the Saltfleet police force and finished his career with Hamilton-Wentworth. He and Jean loved euchre and were members of The New Horizons at the Stoney Creek Legion and Warden Park Seniors. Always the gentleman who helped anyone in need! Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
