Obituary of Gordon Nelson

NELSON, Gordon Passed away peacefully, at Arbour Creek Long Term Care, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in his 95th year. Loving husband of Lillian (nee Warner) for 64 years. Devoted father of Marie Robbins (Doug) and Donna Mawhinney (Mike). Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Paul Mawhinney (Kendra), Leah Mawhinney (Steve) and Mark Robbins. Loved by great-grandchildren Anna-Kate and Haley Mawhinney. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Lloyd, Milton and Orvil and sisters Violet and Eva. Special thank you to the 3rd and 4th floor staff of Arbour Creek for all of their kind and compassionate care. Friends will be received at the Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer, 25 Lake Avenue S., Stoney Creek on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
