Obituary of Gerald (Buck) Brown
March 18, 1953 - April 15, 2022
A devoted father, loving husband, gifted tradesman and 3-time CMA Dirt Track National Champion - Buck Brown flew home, checkered flag in hand, on Good Friday at age 69. Buck was a native of Ancaster, but if you asked, he was “Stoney Creek Stock”. He joins his wife of 35 years, Iris (Walters), his brother Jim Brown, his mother Irene Mann (Donovan), step-father Art Mann, and father Roderick Brown.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Jessica (Jeff), his step-sisters Cheryl Polak (Peter) and Deborah Wilkinson (Rodney). His memory will be cherished as “Uncle Buck” to his many nieces and nephews, and he will be remembered fondly by so many friends and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. A private reception will follow. Special thanks to Ted Catherwood - the best friend a little guy could ask for - as well as the amazingly compassionate teams at Hamilton General and St. Peter’s Hospital Palliative Care. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
Rest easy, Rider.
