I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Crichton, and I am saddened that I have not had a chance to give her one last hug of gratitude and appreciation.
Ms. Crichton was my angel of hope during my time in Mcmaster medical school 2011-2013. Her financial support through the Janet F. Muir fund was crucial to my successful graduation while supporting a family with three young children. Nowadays I’m a family physician in fort Erie and often I reflect on my promise to give back to the same fund and support the next generation of students.
It was with this intent that I sought information on how to reach Ms. Crichton, and learned of her passing.
Oh how I wish I could hug her one more time and tell her how much difference she’s made in my life.
To her family, I offer my condolences and send my message of admiration and inspiration that I have been impressed with by Ms. Crichton.
