Toshawb (Wendy) Lois Wilson Obituary
Celebrating the life of Toshawb Lois Wilson, known by many as Wendy, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on September 24, 2026
We are sad to lose my Mum, yet happy she is at peace, her pain gone. And it was a blessing to spend an hour with her, the day she left us, being able to sing along with the precious voices of kids on a cd, the welcoming songs of heaven.
Her smile, way of encouraging, love and friendship touched the lives of so many throughout her life.
She leaves behind her daughter Heather Clayton (nee Giesbrecht) and son-in-law Paul Clayton; daughter-in-law Carolyn Konrad-Giesbrecht; grandchildren Rebekah; Jessie (Josh); Daniel (Malisha); Natalia (Saif); great-grandchildren Sophia, Eden, Milo; Athena; Gianna, Adonis; brother Philip Wilson (Terry Ann) and beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her son Jonathan Giesbrecht (2015), parents George (1999) and Doris (2001) Wilson; sister Joan Ferreira (2014), brothers Edward Wilson (2025), Nathen Valecourt (known by many as Denny Wilson)(2026) and nephew Joel Ferreira (2025)
So many thanks to all the staff at Queen’s Garden, for the wonderful care and support given to our Mum/Toshawb/Nana in her final years, until her passing there, where she resided. ‘T’ had endeared herself to many around her. They affectionately called her T, Tosh, Tish, and Momma.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the De Mazenod Door Outreach are appreciated. An organization that Toshawb supported in recent years, who cared for the poor and marginalized in Hamilton.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 1 p.m. with Visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow in Tapleytown Cemetery.
