Passed peacefully in her sleep on September 27th, 2026 at Arbour Creek LTC in Stoney Creek, Ontario at the age of 77. Loving mother of Daniel (Leanne). Survived by her siblings Sue Barber (Rick), Gloria Barber (Jim), and Jim Barber (Jony). Predeceased by her siblings Donna Pacey and Laurie Barber (Tony), and her parents Gilbert and Joyce. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Carol was known for her abiding love of animals. She enjoyed reading and doing crosswords, and loved music, especially the music of Prince. Special thanks to all the staff at Arbour Creek for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
