Passed away peacefully, on Monday, September 21st, 2026, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, in his 81st year. Joined in Eternity with his late parents Gordon and Elma Mathers (nee Glover) and late brother Garry Mathers. Survived by his eldest brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Patricia Mathers, sister Gail Bonney (nee Mathers), nieces and nephew Denise, Christine, Roberta, Nancy and Steven, and their families.

Ron was very proud of his family and our memories made together. He was a hard worker but always found time to enjoy his love of playing pool, country music, telling jokes and being the best Uncle. He will be missed and forever loved.

Heartfelt thanks to Ron’s caregivers at Orchard Terrace LTC (Glover Road, Stoney Creek) for their compassionate care to our brother and uncle.

At Ron’s request, there will not be any services held. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place on a future date.
