It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we say farewell to this beautiful woman. Darcy and momma, peacefully fell asleep in the Lord, on September 2, 2026, in her 70th year. Loving mother to Kimberly (Shawn) and Jeremy. Grandma to Carson and Luke. Sister to Darren. Aunt to Jada (Matthew) and Nikita (aunt Dardo to Keaton, Zander and Landon). Predeceased by her parents Elton and Helen, and by her sister Marion.

The multitude of friends in Darcy’s life from her many years in the hospitality business (The Alpine, The Gladstone, and The Galley Pump) formed unforgettable memories and relationships for all. She LOVED her gift in this area of life! Darcy went on to work in home care and operate a school bus before retiring.

Our gratitude to all the wonderful care team at Hamilton General Hospital for journeying alongside of this determined lady.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
