Following a lengthy illness, Kendrick Cecil Wallace, 83, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

Born on May 27, 1943 in the Caribbean Island of Nevis. Ken is survived by his loving wife Edna Wallace (Allen) and two children; Jerry (Tanya), Natasha (Kelvin); two stepchildren Bridgette Blair and Everton Blair—and six grandchildren—Jade, Yasmin, Julia, Maya, Jordyn and Kayla as well as his sisters in the UK; Margaret, Alma and Elvera. Ken spent his life caring for his family. He loved growing vegetables in his garden, riding his bike around Wagner Park and telling stories about growing up in Nevis and the UK. Ken’s loved music and his favourite songs were “What a Wonderful World” and “Speak Peace to My Soul” which he sang often. The family sends their sincere thanks to Dr. Graeme Fraser and the Juravinski Cancer Center.

Friends are invited to visit on Sunday August 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek.  The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Victory International Church, 2799 Barton Street East, Hamilton. Interment to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
